We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email, password), organization information, and monitor configurations. We also collect usage data such as login timestamps, feature usage, and error logs to improve the Service.

2. Monitoring Data

When you create monitors, we collect check results (response times, status codes, error details) and store them according to your plan's retention period. This data belongs to you and is never sold to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) operate and improve the Service; (b) send alerts and notifications you configure; (c) provide customer support; (d) send essential service communications (billing, security, maintenance). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) service providers necessary to operate the Service (hosting, email delivery, payment processing); (b) law enforcement when required by valid legal process.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on infrastructure located in the EU. We protect your data with AES-256 envelope encryption for secrets, TLS in transit, and access controls. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.

6. Data Retention

Monitoring data is retained according to your plan (30 days Free, 180 days Pro, 3 years Enterprise). Account data is retained for 30 days after account deletion. You can request data export or deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and data, export your data, and withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The marketing site (yipyap.run) does not set any cookies.

9. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing and Resend for transactional email. Each has its own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect.
